 Javascript VirtualKeyboard 3.5.0b2
 by WingedFox - Tue, Jul 22nd 2008 14:42 UTC

About: Javascript VirtualKeyboard allows you to use any existing keyboard layouts without having them installed on your local PC. This tool is useful for embedding into a WYSIWYG HTML editor, a Web mail system, chat, forum, or any other application requiring user input. About 70 languages/130 keyboard layouts are supported. It has an easy and powerful design, allowing it to implement complex layouts like Korean, Japanese, Chinese, and so on. It has full support for keyboard and mouse input. It features a completely CSS-driven UI that is easy skinnable.

Changes: An updated mapping init routine that builds a hierarchical list, fixed backspace processing when the IME is open, and a fix for moving selection to the IME toolbar. IME suggestions can be inserted by clicking on them. A paged/all toolbar mode and page counter were added. The IME hiding routine was updated with checks against the "already closed" state. The Chinese Pinyin IME was fixed when typing in the uppercase.

 Itzam 4.0.4
by Scott Robert Ladd - Tue, Jul 22nd 2008 14:21 UTC

About: Itzam is an embedded database engine that creates and manipulates files containing keyed-access records. Information is referenced by a user-defined key value, and one or more indexes (hash, B-tree, or matrix) may be combined with or separated from data. Itzam is deliberately portable and designed as a foundation for other languages (C++, Python, and Java).

Changes: A minor bug in reporting the length of record allocated file reads was fixed.

 windRose 0.6.0
by Fabrizio Giudici - Tue, Jul 22nd 2008 14:06 UTC

About: windRose is a small application for PDAs connected to GPS receivers. It provides navigation information such as latitude, longitude, altutide, and course, distance measurement (odometer), landmark / trip recording capabilities, waypoint management, map rendering, and weather information retrieval.

Changes: This release fixed many critical issues and improved performance and usability. Thanks to support for exporting track data into GPX, this is the first release that can be productively used. Installation show-stoppers were fixed on many platforms including many Nokia phones. Better support will be introduced in upcoming versions. The license was changed from MIT to Apache.
